I loved the Kate Spade New York spring 2013 presentation—love all of the black and white checked pieces, especially this skirt.  I’m also saving up for another JW Hulme Co bag (loving this cross body)

How should all 21-year-olds dress, you ask? Probably exactly like Kelly Shami. She dons beanies and sneakers just as easily as prim tie-neck blouses and A-line skirts, which makes her hard to resist whether you side with a West or East coast sartorial mentality. Her look is fun, she’s got a jewelry line in the works & digs Grace Coddington as much as we do…this girl is IT.

1. The Basics:

2. 5 items in your closet you couldn’t live without:
- My jewelry box! Being a rookie jewelry designer I always get inspiration from the pieces I have collected over the years. I can’t leave the house without a necklace and a few rings on.
- My vintage Chanel scarf handed down to me from my mother. It is one of my favorite pieces due to its sentimental value and that in can instantly turn a casual outfit to something more lively.
- Black Shiny Nylon Tricot Leggings from American Apparel, literally the only pair of basic leggings I ever buy. Whether I am working out or going out, they never fail me.
- A pair of Converse! Being big on sneakers, there’s nothing like a pair of chucks.
- I recently just purchased a Louis Vuitton speedy, and now I couldn’t imagine what other bag could be more versatile. It holds everything from my notebooks and makeup to dog treats for the pup.  The monogram always struck me as an iconic print.

3. Currently coveting…
After doing my shoe roundup for 2012, I am pretty much craving all of those shoes (a girl can dream right?). I am also always on the hunt for the perfect white tee, it’s actually harder than it seems to find!

4. Favorite item ever featured on The ZOE Report
I’ve always been a huge Balmain fan, and when I saw The ZOE Report’s feature about their collaboration with jeweler Aurélie Bidermann, I fell in love. I love the simplicity of the bag touched with hints of fine accessories.  It’s cool to see huge fashion houses collaborate with jewelry designers.

Always a little partial to the California girls, our latest blogger crush discovery hails from the OC—and has a pretty penchant for skirts and dresses in a way that reads girly but not overtly so. Not afraid to mix it up with colors & patterns, Stephanie’s look is classic & polished—and if you’re not experiencing major hair envy like us, we wonder if you’re human ;)

2. 5 items in your closet you couldn’t live without:
- Taupe Maxi Dress from Need Supply Co.: It’s my one and only, trusty maxi dress with a beautiful drape and deep side cutouts that I wear everywhere, when I want to be comfortable and still look chic. I wish I had bought two!
- Lo & Sons O.M.G. bag: You can spot me a mile away with my bright raspberry O.M.G. bag that I use every day to carry my laptop and necessities to work. It has so many carefully placed pockets that make it functional, while still looking stylish. I also never travel without it. 
- Paige Denim Hoxton: These are my go-to jeans for those colder and more heavy duty (or lazy) days. They’re high rise skinnies that are perfectly cut and comfortable.
- Tacori earrings: I love Tacori’s modern and sophisticated collection of classic gems. Their cushion-cut hematite studs have become my daily staple earrings and these gorgeous blue earrings from their new City Lights Collection have been making my holiday party rounds with me.  
- 3.1 Phillip Lim Cody d’Orsay heels: I have been lusting after these babies since its Spring debut and I recently (and luckily) acquired the silver metallic and blue perch leather Codys at P.Lim’s first LA sample sale. They haven’t left my feet since!

3. Currently coveting… 
- Ellery et Graz Quixote Catseye Sunglasses: The most perfect cat eye. Ever. 
- Alexander Wang Prisma All-in-One iPad case: Alexander Wang is a genius in designing this minimal, luxe case/clutch, with pockets and slot for all the necessities - iPad, iPhone, lipsticks (I don’t hold pens as much as I should), and credit cards. I’m already on the verge of whipping out my credit card for this.

There’s just that something that makes them infinitely cooler than the rest of us, and thus we swoon when we stumble upon a blog that chronicles their life and times. Enter Natacha—one of our favorite Frenchies, who now blogs from her home base of NYC. Her outfits are lust-worthy, her aesthetic is spot on AND she has great taste in music. Win, win, win.
