Follow Friday—Blogger Crush of the Week:
Mollie from Mollie In Seattle
It’s easy to fall into new girl crushes when they possess covetable closets, but come to find out they’re do-gooders as well? Done and done, crush turns into full on LOVE. Hence our current affection for Miss Mollie, who churns out a full-on lifestyle blog with a socially conscious focus—she strives to support and expose non-profit organizations through her posts. After all, she cites fashion and philanthropy as her two favorite things, which definitely qualifies her as our newest favorite blogger!
1. The Basics:
Mollie Ruiz-Hopper, 24, Seattle, WA
2. 5 items in your closet you couldn’t live without:
There are definitely a few items in my closet that I find myself wearing almost on a daily basis one way or another. My J Brand skinny jeans, they’re like magic, so comfortable, they go with everything, I can dress them up or down. My Michael Kors leather jacket goes with me everywhere, from LA to New York it’s always the perfect jacket to pair with a hat and scarf to keep me warm. I recently bought a pair of Rachel Zoe Hutton pants, they are the most flattering pants I’ve ever worn, so comfortable and they make my legs look longer! My Tory Burch Reva flats are a for sure “can’t live without” practical for every day and special occasions I couldn’t imagine my life without them, finally something I proudly wear often is my Falling Whistles necklace, it’s stylish and helps promote peace in the Congo, I think everyone should have one.
3. Currently coveting…
Gosh among the many things I’m admiring and adding to my wish list, a few things I have my eye on right now are, Warby Parker’s Preston eyeglasses, Brian Atwood’s Tribeca Laser sandal and Elizabeth and James’ Allen leather crop bootcut leather pants.
4. Favorite item ever featured on The ZOE Report:
The Christian Louboutin Cataclou Wedge Sandals you recently shared definitely made my heart skip a few beats.
5. 5 songs you’re streaming at the moment:
-“Supernatural” by Ke$ha
-“Thrift Shop” by Macklemore
-“Orange Peel” by Grant Landram
-“I Will Wait” by Mumford & Sons
-“All My People Go” by Kris Orlowski
